I’m a audio engineer based in London, UK, currently working as a runner at Abbey Road Studios.

about me

I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia listening and dancing to a wide variety of music genres. I was interested in music from an early age and started playing the piano at six years old.

In 2015, I achieved a BA in Piano Performance led by pianist Sergei Sichkov (PhD Tchaikovsky Conservatory) in the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. That same year, I participated in the VIth International Piano Festival "Oscar Buenaventura" in the Tolima Conservatory, Colombia; and the Vth International Chamber Music Festival in the Teatro El Lago, Chile. 

I joined the minimalist Colombian group Ensamble Als Eco and mainly performed Philip Glass', Steve Reich's, Simeon Ten Holt's, and Antoine Beuger's repertoire. 

In 2017, I moved to London and studied Audio Production at SAE Institute. There I developed a keen interest in sonic art practices. From my research in 2019, I created a 3D site-specific sound installation named Mismatched Milieux showcased at St. Ethelburga's Center for Peace and Reconciliation in London. 

I have collaborated with visual artists exploring sound and music composition as a complement to visual media. My work has been shown in SGR Galería (2017) and Espacio Odeon (2018) in Colombia, and Sharjah Art Foundation (2018 and 2019) in the United Arab Emirates. 

My project By The River along Colombian director Sofía Camargo was enlisted for the FICCI International Film Festival Official Selection (Colombia, 2020), Latino Media Fest, Official Jury Award (the USA, 2020), Fusion Film Festival (the U.S.A, 2020), First Run Film Festival (the U.S.A, 2020), Little Wing Festival (the UK, 2020), Amarcort Film Festival (Italy, 2020).

During the pandemic, I completed the Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering at Abbey Road Institute. I had the chance to learn from professionals in the field like John Dunkerley, Haydn Bendall, Olga FitzRoy, Ricky Damian, Peter Walsh, Jerry Barnes, amongst others.

I worked at Noatune Studios, Angel Studios, and currently independent label 5dB Media. I’ve had the chance to work with artists such as Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, METTE, Los Bitchos, Georgia Cécile, to name a few.
